The Acanthus Chapter was consecrated on 26th May 1946.

The Chapter uses Aldersgate Working.

The Acanthus Chapter meets three times a year on fourth Wednesday in March Installation), the second Wednesday in June and first Wednesday in September at Freemasons Hall, Great Queen Street, London WC2B 5AZ.

The Chapter dines at the Newton Arms P.H., Parker Street, London WC2.

It has 20 members who always meet in the most convivial manner.
